Goodwill/United Way ID Assistance Program

The ID Assistance Program provides outside agency referrals with assistance in procuring an ID.  Included in the process of getting the ID are supportive services such as ordering birth certificates or other pertinent documents.  A client may only receive one ID in a calendar year.

Navigations Inc. Program

Navigations, Inc. is an ability one sub-corporation of Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan’s Heartland for the exclusive purpose of the solicitation, bidding, receiving and implementation of Federal, State and Local service contracts and the employment of persons with disabilities in the performance of the contracts awarded. 

Return to Work Program

Return to Work Program provides light duty option for workers who have been injured on the job and are restricted to light-duty through a Workman’s Compensation arrangement.  Goodwill contracts with local businesses to provide light duty option for their employees on a fee-for-service basis.  Employees remain on their company’s payroll but work at Goodwill sites fulfilling job assignments within their restrictions.
